Soap giants and flagship brand of PZ Cussons, Premier Cool, recently restated its commitment to supporting the growth of sports and youth engagement as it renewed its sponsorship of the Higher Institutions Football League (HiFL) for the second year running. The renewal was made known at a press briefing which held at Radisson Blu in Lagos to launch the 2020 season of league.
The last edition of HIFL was boosted by the sponsorship of Premier Cool, in line with its commitment to developing the social touch-points of its target audience. During this period, the brand was quite instrumental in the training of not just the players but also everyone involved in the competition. Premier Cool in partnership with Manchester City Football Club, sponsored the first of its kind ever Coaching Clinic for Collegiate Coaches in Nigeria and in the history of the league. Many of the coaches who participated in that memorable capacity development session clearly benefited from the program as the impact and testified the noteworthy improvement as the season progressed.
Talking at the occasion was the Brand Development and Activation Manager, Premier Cool, Eniola Ogunlade, who lauded the coordinators for a perfect execution, as the development of the HiFL has been very amazing, which is the reason Premier Cool is glad to be a piece of another rising example of a success story.

The organizers of the league mentioned, after highlighting the accomplishments and development of Higher Institutions Football League (HiFL) in 2019, that 2020 season is set to include no less than 52 Higher Institutions all over the nation, having recorded 32 the past season. The preliminary matches would kick - off in April.
